I got this waffle maker for Christmas and we have used it several times since then. It works easily and the waffles come out beautifully. This is the first time our household has ever used one and still the waffles come out just right. The price is a little higher than for other waffle makers, but this one is attractive enough to display on the counter-top and it has removable plates that are easy to wash. A final cool thing is that it makes heart waffles or Belgian, and both look great (and taste great too using the recipe in the waffler instruction booklet). Highly recommend it. And wait until you smell how good homemade waffles are in the morning!

Gorgeous as it is to behold, this Art Deco waffle maker's best feature is under the clamshell-shaped, chrome lid: reversible plates that create both Belgian and "five of hearts" waffles. The former hold lots of melted butter, syrup, and fruit. The latter display five heart-shaped sections fanning out from the center. In either case, the waffles benefit from the patented plates, which contain embedded heating elements that ensure even heat distribution for uniform browning. The plates are nonstick so they release waffles in one piece. They're removable and fully immersible for scrubbing in the sink, and they're also dishwasher-safe. Though it produces 7-inch-diameter waffles, the compact waffle maker measures only 8 inches wide and 11-1/2 inches front to back. For upright, space-saving storage a clip locks the handles together.
